Hemp and CBD Expo- One week later
It has now been one week since I returned from exhibiting at the Hemp and CBD expo at the NEC in Birmingham. The past week has been so busy, not only with orders but also with wholesale enquiries. I have been shipping orders, emailing price lists, sending samples. Life has been pretty manic. That is the reason this blog has not been written until now.
Was it worthwhile
People keep asking me whether it was worthwhile, it was a huge amount of work over the 3 days including set up and dismantling. It also meant 3 days away from my family. It was a big expense having a stand. The honest answer to the question is time will tell. So far I am really pleased with the contacts I have made and ideas that have come from being there.
Having said that, I loved it, I loved meeting all the B2B and B2C people who came round, of course showing off the BeCarma brand and fantastic products. I also loved seeing all the other Exhibitor stands and products. I definitely have lots of ideas of future product ranges.
Sharing a stand
In order to make it more cost effective, i shared a stand with other micro CBD businesses, this gave us the opportunity to exhibit our products on a bigger stand and together showed how small businesses can be compliant and keep to legal limits. It was great spending time with the owners of these businesses. BeCarma shared half a stand with Essench, CBD UK Online and The Wee Hemp Company I would strongly suggest having a look at their products because they offer some fantastic and unusual CBD based products.
The most popular product was definitely our Relieve Balm. Lots of people who tried it were so impressed with the way it worked they came back for more.
Our lip balm is now being reclassified as our glossy CBD lip balm thanks to feedback from people at the event. It really makes a fantastic lip gloss as well as having the moisturising properties of a lip balm. You will definitely be seeing more of this product.
